Main Ingredients
- 6 cups Apples, peeled, cored, and sliced Use a mix of sweet and tart apples
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon Cloves
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Place the apples in a slow cooker.
Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for about 10 hours, stirring occasionally, until the apples are very soft.
Use a blender to puree the mixture until smooth.
Continue cooking on low, uncovered, for an additional 1-2 hours, or until the mixture is thickened to your liking.
Let cool, then transfer to jars and refrigerate.
