Instructions
1. In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the butter and onions. Cook until onions are translucent.
3. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Add the potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
5. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
6. Serve hot, topped with crispy bacon.
