- 1 large cabbage core removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups tomato sauce
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the cabbage and cook for 2-3 minutes until the leaves are pliable. Remove and let cool.
3. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
4. Carefully peel off the cabbage leaves. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each leaf and roll it up, tucking in the sides.
5. Place the rolls seam-side down in a baking dish. Pour the tomato sauce over the rolls.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
