  • 4 Apples Washed and dried
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ teaspoon Red Food Coloring Optional

Instructions 

  1. Insert skewers into the apples.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cook until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in red food coloring.
  5. Dip apples into the syrup, coating evenly. Let cool on a greased baking sheet.
