Caprese Salad with Balsamic Reduction
A simple and delicious Caprese Salad with a homemade balsamic reduction.

Main Ingredients
- 4 pieces Tomatoes sliced
- 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella sliced
- 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
- ½ cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
1. In a small saucepan, bring the balsamic vinegar to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until vinegar has reduced to a thick syrup, about 10-15 minutes.
2. Arrange tomato and mozzarella slices on a platter, alternating and overlapping them.
3. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella slices.
4. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic reduction over the salad.
5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
