Chicken Marsala

Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 8 oz Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  2. 2. Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.
  3. 3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, add butter and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are browned.
  5. 5. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  6. 6. Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes.
  7. 7. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
  8. 8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
