Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 2 cups Carrots chopped
- 1 cup Celery chopped
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 8 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
1. In a large pot, add the chicken pieces and cover with water. Bring to a boil and skim off any foam.
2. Add the chopped carrots, celery, onion, and minced garlic to the pot.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Remove the chicken pieces, shred the meat, and return it to the pot. Discard the bones.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
