  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about ⅔ full.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  8. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
