Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork shoulder cut into cubes
  • 1 large Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Roasted green chilies chopped
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the cubed pork shoulder. Cook until browned on all sides.
  2. 2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the roasted green chilies, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot.
