- 5 cups Concord grapes stems removed
- 1 cup Water
- 7 cups Sugar
- 1 box Pectin
1. Wash and stem the grapes.
2. In a large pot, combine grapes and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Mash the grapes and strain through cheesecloth to extract juice.
4. Measure 5 cups of grape juice and return to the pot. Add pectin and bring to a boil.
5. Add sugar, stirring constantly. Bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
6. Remove from heat and skim off foam. Ladle into sterilized jars and seal.
