Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast

Main Ingredients
- 8 oz dried beef
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 4 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices bread, toasted
Rinse the dried beef under cold water to remove excess salt. Pat dry and cut into bite-sized pieces.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Stir in the flour to make a roux. Cook for about 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
Add the beef and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the creamed beef over toasted bread.
