Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 5 medium Potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup Chopped carrots
  • 1 cup Chopped dill pickles
  • 1 cup Pickle juice
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the potatoes and carrots. Cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the chopped dill pickles and pickle juice. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. 4. In a bowl, mix the sour cream and flour until smooth. Gradually add to the soup, stirring constantly.
  5. 5. Add the butter, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh dill.
