Ingredients 

Doughnut Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. 2. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ½ inch thickness. Cut out doughnuts using a doughnut cutter.
  4. 4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry doughnuts until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Remove doughnuts from oil and drain on paper towels. Let cool slightly before serving.
