Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar for caramel
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt sugar until golden. Carefully pour hot caramel into a baking dish, coating the bottom evenly.
  3. In a blender, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the milk mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
  5. Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with hot water to create a water bath.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until set. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
