Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups pumpkin puree 425g
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar 150g
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk 240ml
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg.
  3. Beat in eggs.
  4. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
  5. Pour mixture into pie crust.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool on a wire rack.
