Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Hamburger Steaks
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Gravy
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add onions and cook until softened. Sprinkle flour over onions and stir well.
Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until gravy thickens.
Return patties to the skillet, cover with gravy, and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
