Hot Brown Recipe
A classic open-faced sandwich with turkey, bacon, and Mornay sauce.

Main Ingredients
- 8 slices Turkey breast cooked
- 8 slices Bacon cooked
- 4 slices Bread toasted
- 1 cup Mornay sauce
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to make Mornay sauce.
Place toasted bread slices in a baking dish. Top each with turkey, then cover with Mornay sauce.
Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top and bake for 10-15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
Top each sandwich with two slices of bacon and serve hot.
