Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Finely chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Additional powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter and ½ cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chopped nuts.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet.
  6. Roll warm cookies in additional powdered sugar and place on a cooling rack to cool completely. Roll in powdered sugar again once cooled.
