Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter softened
- 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Finely chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Additional powdered sugar for rolling
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream together the butter and ½ cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chopped nuts.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet.
Roll warm cookies in additional powdered sugar and place on a cooling rack to cool completely. Roll in powdered sugar again once cooled.
