Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 200 g fresh ginger peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup rice vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and thinly slice the ginger.
  2. 2. Blanch the ginger slices in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3. In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  4. 4. Place ginger slices in a jar and pour the hot vinegar mixture over them. Let cool to room temperature.
  5. 5. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using.
