  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and grated
  • 1 small onion grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Grate the potatoes and onion into a large bowl.
  2. 2. Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes and onion.
  3. 3. Add eggs, flour, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix well.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the pan and flatten them with a spatula.
  6. 6. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. 7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
