Ingredients 

Cake

  • 1 box Yellow cake mix
  • 1 box Instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup Dark rum

Glaze

  • 1 stick Butter
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Dark rum

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pudding mix. Add eggs, water, oil, and rum. Mix well.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. While the cake is baking, make the glaze. In a saucepan, combine butter, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in rum.
  5. When the cake is done, let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Invert onto a serving plate. Prick the top and sides of the cake. Spoon glaze over the cake, allowing it to soak in. Repeat until all glaze is used.
