Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
Gravy Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into patties.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add sliced onion and mushrooms, cooking until tender.
Sprinkle flour over the onions and mushrooms, stirring to coat. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
Return the patties to the skillet, spooning gravy over them. Simmer for 15 minutes, ensuring patties are cooked through.
