Ingredients 

Salmon Burgers

  • 1 lb salmon fillet skin removed, finely chopped
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Lemon Basil Mayo

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and chopped basil to make the lemon basil mayo.
  5. Serve the salmon burgers on buns with a dollop of lemon basil mayo on top.
