- 4 pounds Pork Shoulder trimmed of excess fat
- 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
- ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ cup Chicken Broth
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Yellow Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 2 large Garlic Cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
2. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour the mixture over the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
6. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
7. Serve the pulled pork on buns or as desired.
