Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, oil, vanilla extract, and sour cream until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
