  • 2 cups Strawberries, chopped
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine strawberries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until strawberries release their juices.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Add to the strawberry mixture.
  3. Cook and stir until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Let cool before using.
