Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 units egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup jam any flavor

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in egg yolks and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add flour and mix until combined.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  6. Press thumb into center of each ball to make an indentation.
  7. Fill each indentation with a small amount of jam.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
